Two weekends ago our HOA (Home Owners Association) had a dumpster day. They bring in roll-off dumpsters and everyone brings their crap that has been collecting for a year in their backyards and basements. I was thinking…”it’d be cool to get a couple of bikes for parts and junk” and then this guy brought out two red beach cruisers. They both had flat tires and are slightly rusty (surface rust mainly), so I snatched them and took ‘em home. One of the bikes has a tweaked fork, so I’ll *have* to get a springer fork for it.
I showed Sean, a friend at work, a picture of Madame Blooberry and now he wants me to build him a rat bike in exchange for some stained glass work. Sarah is okay with it, so I ordered some reeealllly tall black apehangers and black bananna seat for his bike. I’ll have to wait to build mine up later. Sean’s bike is going to be satin black with no fenders and red rims with whitewalls. It should be SWEET.
